I was privileged to sing The Wedding Song with this beautiful soul, Patrick Leong. At that time, I was truly frustated for not being able to find a good male singer to sing the song with me. All along I had him in mind but I was apprehensive as to ask fearing he'd be expensive to work with. This is a church project, you see.

I prayed and finally contacted him, and i received a quick response from this brother. He said yes and he gave some very pleasing answers. As soon as I read the mail, I was in tears and i thanked the Lord.

He came, he was such a humble soul. He did not waste much time. He recorded and was so humble to listen to what we expected of him. He didn't even want to change the key of the demo because he said I sound perfect singing in that key. He accommodated with my singing and recorded the song. Nevertheless, he shone bright in the climax of the song. I'm still thankful to God for showing me this beloved brother to do His work. I don't think anyone else would've sung the way Patrick Leong did. The song was an inspiration from God and God took charge on who should sing the song with me.

I pray and hope that this song will be a blessing to everyone. I wrote this song because I felt the need for new and good meaningful songs for church wedding ceremonies. I had the tune in my head but I did not have the words for it. Finally, when we were pressed for time, I somehow wrote it. I don't think I would've ever done a good job without the Lord's guidance. This song is truly from the above. Not from me.

  1. I had never heard of Matilda and Boy Radge before this, but briefly heard that they are involved in the secular music industry for quite some time now.
Upon receiving the song in which was proposed to me to duet with Matilda, I was in awe of her vocal quality and rendition. There was a deep sense of purity in her voice that spoke of her inner being that was captivating and Godly inspiring. All the more the conviction came in me to agree, in singing the male part for the duet was because, I admired people who are in the secular field yet, never fail to honor the Lord with their gifting and talents to sew back in the Christian arena in such a project, that was entirely dedicated to praise and worshiping God, and at the same time a noble purpose to help and build HIS HOUSE of worship.

In fact to be honest, I thought her vocals was impressive that it was not going to be easy for me to match her skills and thought she should get someone better than myself.

During the recording, thanks to both Radge and Matilda who are professionals in their field of production and studio work who produced my part, enabled me to give my all. Thanks for making me sound good y'all! love you both for it.
Thank you for sharing both your genuine hearts with me through this song. And sensing the urgency and passion of Matilda who wrote the duet "LET NO MAN PUT ASUNDER" for marriages, coming from a home I grew myself in observing the strive of my parents marriage, I kind of expected where I needed to place myself when singing this song. It wasn't a love song, but it was a song of commitment to each other before the FATHER, GOD who had instituted marriage to be a beautiful union of two becoming one.
In some humorous way, When I was recording the song, I envisioned myself singing to my "wife" during the marriage ceremony. Of course I am still happy single, hahahahah.

We need more inspiring individuals like Matilda and Boy Radge who shine for Jesus in all that they do through all that is given to them.
May the album BE THOUS MY VISION fulfills GOD's VISION for the world through both of you and the songs that you have produced and written. May HIS spirit cause every single listener who hears this album to come to terms with their personal journey and walk in the Lord, that will cause them to respond to Him.

WELL DONE! CONGRATULATIONS! BE ENCOURAGED that our Lord is pleased and well pleased with your efforts, sacrifices but above all, your hearts.

Praise God for both of you my dear brother and sister.

    God Bless
    Patrick Leong
